Accounts Payable Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire accounts payable process from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies.

  • Process incoming invoices in a timely manner and maintain accurate records for reconciliation and tracking purposes.
  • Verify the legitimacy and compliance of invoices submitted for payment by cross-checking them against relevant company information.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice or reimbursement discrepancies through data analysis and research.
Vendor Communication

Maintain effective communication channels with vendors via email and phone to address account issues and inquiries professionally and promptly.

  • Provide timely responses to vendors, customers, and coworkers regarding payment status updates.
Financial Support Services

Assist with month-end close processes by preparing reconciliations, reviewing payables data, and generating reports using accounting software.

  • Maintain a working knowledge of the company's chart of accounts to ensure accurate account usage in the AP system.
Additional Responsibilities

Contribute to various projects including financial audits, physical inventory reviews, annual tax preparation, and budgeting support as needed.
