We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Accounts Payable Manager (Consultant) to support the end-to-end management of our global AP operations. This consultancy role requires a highly skilled finance professional with a strong track record in resolving complex legacy issues including supplier aging and historical discrepancies, driving process improvements and ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in AP management, deep knowledge of international accounting standards, and the ability to collaborate effectively with global finance and project teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable operations across all global branches and subsidiaries.

  • Ensure all AP invoices are uploaded timely and accurately by the AP Officers

  • Lead and execute reconciliation of legacy AP issues, including supplier aging and historical discrepancies.

  • Monitor and maintain the integrity of the AP ledger, ensuring accuracy in posting and classification.

  • Collaborate with finance and project teams globally to streamline AP workflows.

  • Utilize Sage Intacct ERP effectively to manage transaction processing, reporting and issue resolution.

  • Prepare and present regular AP reports, ageing summaries, and reconciliation statements to senior management

  • Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and internal financial controls.

  • Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation within the AP function.

  • Liaise with vendors for coordination, reconciliations and resolution of legacy/live issues

  • Lead and coordinate with Shared Services and Regional finance teams to standardize processes, resolve discrepancies, and strengthen reporting accuracy.

  • Access and enable the XE payment module to ensure swift and timely review of international and domestic payments

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Master's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CAF, CA, CIMA) preferred.

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Finance, with at least 3 years in an AP managerial or supervisory role.

  • Demonstrated experience in multi-entity, multinational environments.

  • Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct ERP is desirable.

  • Proven ability to resolve legacy accounting issues and carry out complex reconciliations.

  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with global stakeholders.

  • Proactive, self-driven and able to work independently within tight deadlines.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate between different teams, across geographies.
