Financial Manager Role

The role of the Financial Manager is to oversee and manage all financial aspects of a company.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Preparing, providing and interpreting financial information;
  • Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends;
  • Analysing change and advising accordingly;
  • Formulating strategic and long-term business plans;
  • Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance;
  • Developing financial management mechanisms that minimise financial risk;
  • Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities;
  • Managing a company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems;
  • Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines;
  • Setting goals and objectives, and designing a framework for these to be met.

Working Conditions:

This role will primarily be based in an office environment. Occasional travel may be required.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates should have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a degree in a relevant subject such as accountancy and finance, business/management, economics or mathematics/statistics.
