Front Desk Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Officer to fill this key role.

As a member of our staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the front desk area and providing exceptional customer service to guests and employees alike.

Responsibilities:
  1. Tidy and Presentable Workspace: Ensure the front desk is always tidy and well-stocked with necessary materials.
  2. Greeting and Welcoming Guests: Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  3. Communication and Problem-Solving: Respond promptly to inquiries and address any complaints or issues that may arise.
  4. Telephone Support: Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or take messages as needed.
  5. Mail and Package Distribution: Receive and distribute mail, packages, and other deliveries to the relevant personnel.
  6. Office Operations Support: Provide administrative support to the HR and Admin teams, including documentation and data entry.
  7. Common Area Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of office common areas.
  8. Additional Responsibilities: Take on additional tasks as assigned, such as travel arrangements, scheduling, and coordinating events.
  9. Candidate Communication: Collaborate with the HR team to schedule interviews and communicate with candidates.
  10. Refreshment Service: Coordinate with the office staff to serve refreshments to employees and guests.
Job Specifications:

Education and Experience:

  1. A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a related field.
  2. Familiarity with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  3. Knowledge of basic office management principles and bookkeeping practices.
  4. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  5. Attention to detail and ability to handle tasks efficiently and accurately.
  6. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  7. Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic.
