Senior Oracle Database Administrator Role

Our organization seeks an accomplished Senior Oracle Database Administrator to oversee the high-level maintenance and optimization of large-scale Oracle databases within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

  • The successful candidate will lead and manage production support activities, data manipulation, and presentation for enterprise-level Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems built on Oracle back-end technology.
About This Position:

This is a senior role requiring extensive experience in database administration, excellent analytical skills, and strong interpersonal abilities. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving skills, be able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Key Responsibilities Include:
    • Managing and maintaining EHR systems, ensuring seamless performance and data integrity.
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement business processes aligned with industry best practices.
    • Analyzing and documenting end-user requirements, implementing change requests and performing performance tuning tasks to optimize system efficiency.
Required Skills:
  • 4-5 years of relevant experience in database administration.
  • Strong understanding of Cerner Millennium and its applications in a healthcare setting.
  • Business process and functional requirements mapping experience.
  • Project management skills are highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and professional skills including ability to work independently and as a team leader.
