Oracle Database Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to administer and support our database infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and support Oracle databases on-premises or in the cloud
  • Coordinate patch management and implementation
  • Develop and enforce standards and best practices for Oracle database administration
  • Interact effectively with staff and manage after-hours support as needed

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting or maintaining Oracle, including Oracle Data Guard, Oracle RAC, Oracle Advanced Security, and SQL*Net
  • Ability to develop and enforce standards and best practices
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with staff
  • Weekend and after-hours work may be required as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle certifications or equivalents
  • Experience or knowledge of other databases
  • Financial Services or Banking experience
  • College degree with 8+ years of experience in Database Administration and 7+ years of experience directly supporting Oracle Database Technologies

Additional Information:

This is a critical role requiring strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle administration and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
