Job Title: Power BI Developer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Modelling: Design, implement and optimize Power BI models to ensure accuracy, performance and scalability.
  • Advanced DAX Development: Write and optimize complex DAX measures and implement calculation groups.
  • Security & Governance: Configure and manage Row-Level Security (RLS), enforce governance standards and ensure compliance with best practice modelling.
  • Source Control & DevOps: Use Git/Azure DevOps for structured release processes.
  • SQL Development: Write efficient SQL queries to transform datasets for integration into Power BI models.
  • Autonomous Delivery: Take ownership of tasks from specification through to delivery ensuring timely and high-quality outputs.
  • Best Practice Modelling: Champion dimensional modelling and star schema design to ensure consistency, maintainability and performance.
  • Dashboard & Insight Delivery: Build and enhance dashboards ensuring usability and alignment with business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a Power BI Developer.
  • Deep knowledge of DAX, RLS, calculation groups, and dimensional modelling.
  • Experience with data modeling, report design and database development.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
