Job Title: Strategic Inventory Planner

A dynamic opportunity exists for a skilled and analytical Strategic Inventory Planner to join our team in a supply chain role that will drive business growth and profitability through effective demand planning, inventory management, and collaborative forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate future product demand and analyze historical sales data to develop accurate forecasts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, schedule, and monitor CPFR activities for key accounts.
  • Design and provide analysis on KPIs, including inventory turnover, days inventory outstanding, and fill rates.
  • Develop deep understanding of customer behavior, product mix, and promotional trends to inform forecast models.
  • Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy and reduce inventory costs.
  • Communicate forecast and inventory estimates to key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in demand planning/forecasting role.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
  • Collaborative problem-solver with strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work autonomously when necessary.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 systems, including Excel, and experience with Python, SQL, or other programming languages is a plus.
