Project Manager Position

The ideal candidate will establish and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders, program managers, and software architects to ensure the team's objectives are met.

The candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing project plans, including defining scope, schedule, risks, deliverables, and resources.

They will oversee and motivate a cross-functional team, collaborate with process audit and compliance teams, set team goals, and contribute to improving project management processes.

  • This includes building strong relationships with Customer Stakeholders, Program Managers, and Software Architects to drive team deliverables and goals.
  • Contribution to the Project Management Office (PMO) team, enhancing process optimization, delivery excellence, and leadership quality.
  • Development, management, and execution of project plans, defining scope, schedule, risks, deliverables, and resources.

The role requires utilizing SCRUM or Kanban methodologies, tailoring them to project needs.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Managing, monitoring, and motivating the cross-functional project team.
  2. Coordinating with Process Audit and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to best practices.
  3. Setting team goals and guiding performance through bi-annual reviews.
  4. Understanding software development processes and procedures to meet team needs.
  5. Possessing knowledge of agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, and other methodologies.
  6. Applying Agile techniques such as User Stories, Continuous Integration, TDD, ATDD, Automated Testing, and Agile Games.
  7. Maintaining strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules, and practices.
  8. Understanding iterative and incremental development fundamentals.
  9. Recognizing the importance of metrics and incremental delivery.
  10. Committing to delivering products on time.
  11. Tracking tasks, backlogs, burndown metrics, velocity, and user stories.
  12. Familiarity with development practices, Service-oriented environments, and Agile practices.

Candidates should have a BS/MS degree in Computer Science from a reputable institution.

A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in reputable software organizations is required.

Experience with hands-on coding and software development projects is necessary.

Excellent English communication, leadership, and presentation skills are essential.

A proven ability to lead cross-functional teams with respect is required.

Knowledge of SCRUM methodology is essential.

Experience with tools like JIRA and DevOps is necessary.

Experience in Dynamics365 implementation is preferred.

An easy-going and likable personality is a plus.

Familiarity with CMMi level processes is a bonus.
