The Role of Integration Specialist is a critical position within our organization, responsible for facilitating seamless data exchange between various systems and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document integration requirements and develop a comprehensive understanding of the needs.
  • Analyze and coordinate integration efforts with external vendors, partners, and countries, ensuring data mapping, API specifications, and message formats align with business objectives.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and IT team members on integration-related topics, ensuring they are equipped to utilize the integration effectively.
  • Perform API testing using tools like Postman and SoapUI to validate API request/response and troubleshoot response codes & errors.
  • Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) to guarantee data integrity and functionality.
  • Work closely with the integration development and operations teams to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all integration processes, including data mappings, workflows, message formats, validations, and transformation rules.
  • Ensure version control for all integration documentation is maintained, ensuring it remains current and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement a plan for the rollout/migration of services to new APIs and validate the integration post-implementation.
  • Provide regular status updates and progress reports to supervisors and management to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Create comprehensive integration specifications covering flows, data mapping, message formats, sample payloads, response codes, and logging criteria.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the line manager or HOD as needed.

This role requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
