Search Engine Optimization Manager

About the Role:

We're a leading fashion brand seeking an experienced Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Manager to join our team. As an SEO Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive SEO strategy that drives organic traffic and conversions.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in SEO, preferably in the e-commerce industry. They will possess a strong understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, link building, and on-page optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an SEO strategy focused on driving bottom-of-funnel (BOFU) conversions
  • Perform ongoing keyword research using tools like Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and SEMrush
  • Optimize product pages, collections, blogs, and internal links for maximum visibility
  • Create content briefs and review drafts to ensure SEO alignment
  • Build and manage backlinks through guest posts, outreach, directories, and other tactics
  • Monitor rankings, traffic, impressions, and fix technical issues using Google Search Console and Google Analytics

Requirements:

  • Proven SEO experience with a focus on e-commerce and conversion-driven strategies
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, and link building
  • Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including content writers, developers, and designers
  • Sharp analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform SEO decisions
  • Clear communication style and ability to report on SEO performance

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms
  • Familiarity with popular SEO tools, such as Surfer SEO, Ahrefs, and SEMrush
  • Understanding of paid/organic synergy and PPC support for SEO strategy
