Senior Technical Operations Manager

Lead the technical operations of natural gas flow measurement equipment installed and operated in various regions. Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, chemical, mechatronics, petroleum, or electronics engineering with at least 9 years of post-qualification experience preferably in oil and gas or public sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the calibration of metering instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Coordinate field activities for installation, startup, and operation of equipment.
  • Analyze data through remote monitoring systems to identify problems and implement corrective measures.
  • Ensure effective utilization of manpower and material resources to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Provide technical support to other regions to meet common departmental objectives.
  • Manage routine verification and calibration of pressure and temperature transmitters.
  • Supervise the installation and commissioning of new metering installations.
  • Oversee documentation and reporting of field activity/maintenance activity reports.
  • Participate in joint meter check activities with distribution departments.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical, chemical, mechatronics, petroleum, or electronics engineering degree with at least 9 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Prior experience in oil and gas or public sector preferred.
  • Master's degree may be advantageous.
