Job Title

An opportunity exists for a skilled professional to support field activities and quick impact projects (QIPs) in compliance with IOM's and donors' rules and regulations, ensuring high-quality programme implementation.

About the Role
  • Support in identifying infrastructure gaps and needs in targeted communities through participation in community assessment and planning meetings with stakeholders, and coordinate with relevant local authorities to maintain transparent communication between communities, authorities, contractors, and management to select suitable projects.
  • Participate in joint field visits with team members to assess community needs and existing structures, guiding the selection of quick impact projects (QIPs).
  • Study the scope of civil works, minor upgrades, infrastructure, and solarization projects; support planning and implementation of these activities.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Draft initial rehabilitation plans for QIPs, including work scope, BOQs, timelines, budgets, and handover recommendations.
  2. Monitor QIP implementation through frequent field inspections and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues proactively.
  3. Manage project data, including FGDs, BOQs, reports, and handover documents in the database.
