Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Integration Solutions Specialist to design and implement robust integration solutions using ACE across diverse data sources. The ideal candidate will have expertise in crafting RESTful APIs and real-time integrations.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Design, develop, and maintain integration flows using ACE for real-time and batch data processing.
  2. Create and expose RESTful APIs for consumption by internal and external systems.
  3. Integrate with multiple data sources including relational databases, cloud storage, MQ, and flat files.
  4. Implement message transformations, routing, and data enrichment using ESQL, Java, and Mapping nodes.
  5. Develop structured error handling, logging, and exception propagation strategies using best practices.
  6. Conduct unit, integration, and system-level testing for services and workflows.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.
  8. Ensure compliance with security, governance, and data quality policies across all integration points.
  9. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of integration solutions in production environments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in middleware development using IBM IIB/ACE.
  • Strong programming skills in ESQL and Java.
  • Experience creating and consuming REST APIs with JSON and XML payloads.
  • Experience with IBM MQ, HTTP nodes, File nodes, and Database nodes.
  • Advanced SQL skills with exposure to performance tuning and database design principles.
  • Cloud integration experience (preferably AWS: Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS).
  • Strong understanding of integration concepts such as SOA, REST, SOAP, APIs, and asynchronous messaging.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools is a plus.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving and debugging ability.
  • Agile and adaptable in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
  • Knowledge/understanding of JIRA is a plus.
