Senior Financial Leadership Position

This is a key role that requires strong leadership and expertise in finance, accounting, and budgeting. The individual will be responsible for managing the financial affairs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage assets, liabilities, receipts, expenditures, funds, and investments.
  • Prepare annual and revised budget estimates and present them to senior management for approval.
  • Ensure that organizational funds are expended on their intended purposes.
  • Audit the organization's accounts annually.
  • Perform other duties as prescribed by senior management.

Requirements:

  • MBA Finance or membership in professional accounting bodies.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards specific to higher education.
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis skills.
  • Experience with internal and external audits, compliance with financial regulations, and proficiency with financial management software.
  • Data analytics skills to enhance financial decision-making and reporting.
