Job Description

This position is accountable for installing, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing customer equipment. The professional will maintain, retrofit, and provide technical support for all Schneider products, both in the shop and on-site. Work on competitive equipment may also be part of the role.

  • Maintain service equipment, tools, and documentation.
  • Identify sales opportunities.
  • Respond to emergency calls and perform interventions in a safe manner.
Responsibilities

The Technical Services Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Complying with safety and cyber security policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Performing Startup/Commissioning on Schneider Electric product & possible competition equipment.
  • Performing Preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled Maintenance on equipment.
  • Analyzing and interpreting technical procedures, governmental regulations, different problems on our equipment and providing appropriate answers.
  • Analyzing and explaining reports results to customers and management.
  • Certification & accreditation could be required vs Business and Country regulations.
  • Participating in team collective initiatives & management meetings to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Understanding scope of work, respecting time allocation to perform job and ensuring full traceability.
  • Supporting planners, coordinators, project manager to get good customer site condition understanding.
  • Escalating quality or technical issues detected in the field.
  • Providing technical explanations about Ecostruxure offer to customers.
  • Using all digital tools designed for SE SR.
  • Tracking Installed Base (serviceable assets).
  • Advising customers on different opportunities to optimize its install base and create lead generation business opportunities.
  • Performing basic audits of customer's electrical systems and equipment (MPS walkthrough).
  • Providing best in class customer experience and promoting Schneider signature.
