Job Title: Engineering Professional

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Graduate with expertise in Mechanical, Chemical, Mechatronics, Petroleum, or Electronics to fill a key position.

About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations of natural gas flow measuring equipment installed and operated in the region.
  • Responsibilities include ensuring that necessary measures are taken for the preventive and breakdown maintenance of the gas flow measurement stations to minimize downtime and ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.
  • The individual will also be responsible for ensuring effective utilization of manpower and material resources to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Additionally, they will provide technical support to other regions to ensure common departmental objectives of accurate gas measurement are met.
  • The incumbent will manage and ensure that calibration of metering instruments at Point of Delivery(s), Check Metering Station(s) and Sales Meter Station(s) are being carried out by the team to ensure metering accuracy and reliability.
  • They will also manage the routine verification and calibration of pressure and temperature transmitters throughout the region.
  • Installation and commissioning of new metering installations and/or upgradation of existing setup in the region will be overseen by the successful candidate.
  • It is essential that field activity/maintenance activity reports are duly filled, signed, and submitted by the team and documentation record is maintained.
  • Joint Meter Check activity with Distribution department should be carried out in timely manner for the gas volume recorded at Sales Metering Stations in the region.
  • The role involves providing technical expertise and guidance to the team and coordinating field activities related to the installation, startup, and operation of equipment's.
  • Closely monitoring data through remote monitoring system for the identification of problems and ensuring that necessary corrective measures are taken in timely manner is also a key responsibility.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Engineering Graduate with expertise in Mechanical, Chemical, Mechatronics, Petroleum, or Electronics.
  • Proven experience in managing and ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations of natural gas flow measuring equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
