Collection & Recovery Officer Role Overview

Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. seeks a professional to achieve recovery targets for Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) and written-off portfolios, adhering to regulatory guidelines and company policies.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Portfolio Recovery Management
  • Regular field visits to delinquent customers, effective negotiations, and daily updates on visited accounts to the line manager.
  • NPL provisions reduction, managing NPLs and Loss (charged-off), and Promised To Pay (PTPs).
  • Customer query resolution and issue escalation to the line manager.
    • Loan Portfolio Management
    • Periodic portfolio reviews, recovery letters delivery, and collection follow-up as per defined frequency.
      • Regulatory Compliance & Controls
      • Understanding of consumer protection laws, debt recovery regulations, and internal procedures to ensure ethical actions.
      • Compliance reduction, handling escalated customer issues as per policies.
        • Additional Duties
        • The bank may assign related tasks as needed.
        Requirements:
        • Required Qualification & Experience:
        • Bachelor Degree from a reputable institution.
        • Over 1 year of experience in loan recovery.
          • Essential Skills:
          • Strong organizational skills, MS Office proficiency, sound communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, readiness for mobility, and ability to work under pressure.
