About the Job

We're seeking an exceptional leader to spearhead our software engineering team. As a Senior Software Engineering Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving innovation and excellence in our distributed backend systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a high-performing team of engineers in implementing cutting-edge services that power our platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance system scalability, maintainability, and overall quality.
  • Coach and mentor engineers to foster their growth and development.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by continuously monitoring industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong background in software engineering with expertise in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language (Java, Go, Python, .NET).
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing scalable distributed systems.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • A minimum of 11 years of experience in a leadership or technical lead role.
