Job Description

As a Senior Plumber, you will be responsible for managing and executing the installation, maintenance, extension, and replacement of plumbing systems across various facilities. This includes all piping, fixtures, appliances, and related components, encompassing sanitary drainage, storm drainage facilities, special wastes, venting systems, and public or private water supply systems.

The ideal candidate should have a working knowledge of chilled water supply and returns, as well as experience in installing and repairing plumbing systems, including piping, valves, faucets, fixtures, and drains. Proficiency in soldering, silver soldering, and caulking joints is also essential.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate must possess excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work effectively under pressure and respond to emergency situations.

Requirements
  • Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma in Plumbing is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of post-apprenticeship training and experience in plumbing is required.
  • Journeyman Plumber license and Master Plumber license are preferred qualifications.
  • ASSE 6010 Installer Certification, ASME IX Brazer Certification/Medical Gas Brazer, and Wastewater Treatment Operator license (Massachusetts) are desirable.
  • Excellent physical strength, ability to work overtime, and lift over seventy pounds occasionally are necessary requirements.
