We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a research assistant in the field of renewable energy technologies.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for conducting research in the global hydrogen economy, specifically focusing on developing and optimizing sustainable hydrogen systems.

  • Key tasks and responsibilities include conceptual process design and process synthesis using superstructure optimization techniques, techno-economic analysis (TEA), and life cycle assessment (LCA).
  • Collaboration with team members and external partners is essential to achieve the group's research objectives.
  • Presentation of research findings at international conferences and publication of results in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals are also expected.

Your Experience and Ambitions:

We are looking for candidates with a strong background in process systems engineering, energy systems, and sustainability analysis.

  • A Master's degree in chemical engineering or a closely related field is required.
  • Experience with process simulators such as Aspen Plus, Aspen Hysys, or similar packages is essential.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, GAMS, Matlab, etc. is considered an advantage but not mandatory.
