Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will oversee the supply chain, procurement, and logistics activities for a successful company. This individual will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure the smooth flow of goods and materials.

Responsibilities include planning and coordinating logistics activities, such as transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution. Additionally, this role involves creating and maintaining relationships with vendors/suppliers, estimating and establishing budgets for purchases, making professional decisions in a fast-paced environment, reviewing all vendors and suppliers, maintaining purchase records, negotiating pricing and supply contracts, monitoring and tracking the movement of goods and materials to ensure timely delivery, managing and optimizing inventory levels to meet customer demands and minimize costs, coordinating with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods, collaborating with internal teams to forecast and plan for future logistics needs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness, resolving any issues or problems that arise during the logistics process, and preparing and maintaining accurate records, reports, and documentation related to logistics activities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in supply chain.
  • Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related role.
  • Knowledge of Imports and Exports.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and documentation related to logistics.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
