Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned data professional to join our team.

This role is crucial in designing, developing, and optimizing complex data architectures that support our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions using SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, and Databricks.
  • Architect and implement robust data models and solutions that support the organization's reporting and analytics needs, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Maintain SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) while transitioning legacy reporting to modern platforms such as Power BI.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into technical solutions that drive business insights.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and quality by implementing effective data governance, security, and compliance measures.
  • Develop and support high-performance querying solutions using Delta Lake and serverless SQL environments.
  • Implement version control and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Git or other similar tools.
  • Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks, optimizing existing data infrastructure to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Drive the adoption of Azure data services and related cloud technologies across the data engineering team.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and performance tuning expertise for SQL and data integration solutions.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong analytical thinking, and experience working with big data technologies. They will be able to design, implement, and maintain complex data systems that meet the organization's needs.
