Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote high standards of evidence-based learning and teaching by monitoring school progress across key performance indicators.
  • Recruit, develop, empower, support, encourage, and retain top-quality teachers in the school.
  • Develop a culture of mutual and continuous learning, respect, collaboration, and coordination within the school community.

Academic Duties:
  • Ensure effective teacher recruitment through the implementation of the Teacher Selection process.
  • Develop a school improvement plan based on need analysis and ensure its successful implementation.
  • Monitor classroom quality through lesson planners and formal/informal classroom observations.
  • Enhance teacher quality through demo sessions and regular feedback.
  • Regularly review student performance by re-checking student copies and test papers as per policy.
  • Organize, manage, and monitor co-curricular activities, timetables, assemblies, periods, displays, libraries, and laboratories.
  • Attend training sessions and conduct on-the-job training for faculty members within the school.
  • Conduct term tests and examinations in a transparent and timely manner.
  • Focus on building team spirit and motivating teachers to improve retention rates.

Administrative Roles:
  • Build strong relationships with the local community and promote education awareness among both male and female children.
  • Maintain an optimal student strength within the school through effective enrolment strategies.
  • Effectively recruit, retain, and perform HR-related tasks in collaboration with the Area and Regional HR teams.
  • Ensure school discipline is maintained and positive character-building practices are encouraged among students and staff.
  • Manage staff leaves and attendance to minimize empty classroom days.
  • Supervise the admin assistant in accounting and other administrative matters.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date school accounts records.
  • Coordinate the supply and management of utility services in a timely manner.
  • Understand and implement policies effectively.
  • Timely submit reports and other required documents.
