This comprehensive HR role provides operational support to the business, including all aspects of the employee life cycle.
The successful candidate will manage the recruitment process from initial advert submission through to new starter induction, ensuring seamless onboarding experiences.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and standard documentation in staff personal files is essential, adhering to company policies and employment legislation.
The HR Manager will also sustain the integrity of HR information systems, guaranteeing staff data is precise and current for reliable reporting purposes.
A critical component of this role is establishing strong communication channels with payroll to ensure timely and accurate processing of changes such as joiners, leavers, promotions, pay rises, and contractual amendments.
Other responsibilities include issuing employment letters to staff members in accordance with company procedures, administering employment benefits, and maintaining databases and records of staff leaves, medical insurance, and other perks.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement HR processes such as annual appraisals, probation reviews, staff surveys, job description reviews, and more.
- Ensure the consistent and fair application of HR policies across the organization, complying with relevant employment laws.
- Research best practices in HR and propose innovative redesigns of key HR processes and related forms.
Providing ongoing guidance on employee relations cases, from initial advice to managers through to complete management of grievances and disciplinary cases, aims to provide pragmatic solutions aligned with best practices and employment legislation.
Thorough exit processes, updating payroll, and executing exit interviews facilitate a smooth transition.
Undertaking ad-hoc HR project work as required by management is also an important aspect of this role.
