We're seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Analyst, Transactional Monitoring Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review alerts generated by TM systems and ensure anomalous activities are escalated appropriately according to regulatory requirements.
  • Gather intelligence from media reports and relevant websites to identify potential security threats and stay updated on the latest AML trends.
  • Verify the authenticity of transactions within each alert, checking trading patterns or transactional activities against customer profiles.
  • If unusual activity is found, investigate further to determine the root cause.
  • Document all actions taken during investigations, providing clear rationale for decisions made.
  • Adhere to established processes and standards at all times.
  • Complete assigned tasks independently within designated timeframes, meeting process benchmarks for productivity and quality.
  • Maintain accurate records, including timesheets and process information, and update them promptly.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance department regarding new initiatives and adhere to relevant processes and procedures.
  • Investigate issues or problems effectively, resolving them or referring them with recommendations to the Line Manager.
  • Provide clear and concise questions and requests for supporting documents during the RFI process to address concerns while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and risk-based decision-making in conducting in-depth investigations.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
