We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

Momentum Technologies is looking for an analytical individual with excellent technical writing skills and functional testing experience in web-based and smartphone applications.

The ideal candidate will create high-quality test cases that meet deadlines, are detailed, and aligned with user stories and functional requirements.

Responsibilities include documentation, functional and integration testing, defect tracking throughout the Software Development Life Cycle, and collaboration with Product Managers and Developers to ensure requirement-related deliverables are understood and tested.

Key Skills Include:

  • Self-motivated and adaptable, with knowledge of Agile and SCRUM methodology.
  • Proficient in test-driven software development and feature extraction from user stories.
  • Strong technical skills for documenting test cases, requirements, and scripts for manual and automated testing.
  • Excellent communication and analytical abilities, with proficiency in English language.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Execution of test plans and reporting testing activities to managers.
  • Collaboration with application developers to resolve identified issues.
  • Documentation of business and functional requirements with Product Managers.
  • Preparation of meaningful reviews for error logs, bug reports, and recommended fixes.
  • Launch and management of QA/QC activities during SDLC.
  • Conducting compatibility tests with various software programs and operating systems.
  • Willingness to work with new infrastructure technologies as required.
Requirements:
  • Write Software Requirements Specifications (SRS).
  • Document anomalies and issues.
  • Maintain a database of software defects.
  • Examine code execution in various environments.
  • Verify specific actions or functions of code.
  • Develop and document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications.
