Career Opportunity: Education Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education Consultant to join our team. As an Education Consultant, you will play a vital role in guiding students towards their academic and career aspirations by providing personalized counseling, information, and support.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting one-on-one counseling sessions with students to understand their academic goals, interests, and aspirations.
  • Providing tailored guidance on selecting suitable universities and programs abroad based on each student's qualifications and preferences.
  • Supporting students through the university application process, including creating a personalized list of target universities, completing application forms, and organizing necessary documents.
  • Providing information on admission requirements, deadlines, and standardized tests (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS, GRE, etc.).
  • Advising students and their families on financial matters related to studying abroad, including tuition fees, scholarships, and living expenses.
  • Exploring funding options and helping students prepare essential financial documentation required for visa applications.
  • Guiding students through the visa application process, ensuring they have the required documentation and information.
  • Staying up-to-date with visa regulations for various countries and assisting students in preparing for visa interviews.
  • Preparing students for the transition to foreign universities, including cultural adjustments and academic expectations.
  • Organizing engaging pre-departure orientations and information sessions.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with universities, colleges, and other education-related organizations to stay updated on program offerings and opportunities.
  • Representing the organization at educational fairs and events.
Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, BBA, B-Com, BA, or a related field (a master's degree is a plus).
  • Previous experience in international education counseling, student advising, or a related field will be an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of foreign universities and their admission processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Empathy and cultural sensitivity to effectively support students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in Digital Media Management, including various digital platforms.
