Job Description

About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial planning and analysis expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing key tasks in relation to management reporting, financial analysis, and budgeting processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc management reports for senior management
  • Supporting and preparing global budgeting and forecasting exercises for various business units to ensure timely and accurate submission
  • Reviewing and validating submissions from business lines and regions to ensure accuracy, identifying and analyzing variance against budget/forecast, maintaining reporting templates and schedules to facilitate review and submission
  • Working closely with business lines and regional teams, group finance management team, and functional owners to understand and analyze financial performance and outlook for the group
  • Developing and automating tools/templates/schedules for monthly and yearly submissions to improve efficiency and facilitate review
  • Involving in ad-hoc projects stemming from various group initiatives, such as system upgrades and planning tool development

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a commercial/audit environment
  • Previous MNC work experience preferred
  • Prior experience in a role with a strong focus on financial analysis and reporting
  • Results-oriented and committed, able to multitask and manage competing deadlines
  • Good team player yet can work independently
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify data patterns
  • Ability to work with dynamic information and troubleshoot with business lines and regions
  • Experience in Cognos and TM1 highly preferred, knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), especially Excel (advanced formulas and macros)
