Job Summary:
The position of Business Development Manager at a hotel involves driving revenue growth through identifying new business opportunities, fostering relationships with key clients, and developing sales strategies.

Key responsibilities include:
  1. Business Growth & Revenue Generation:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities (corporate accounts, travel agencies, event planners, MICE groups).
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas.
    • Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and promotional packages.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, OTAs, and event organizers.
    • Conduct sales calls, site inspections, and networking events to attract new business.
    • Address client inquiries, negotiate contracts, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  3. Strategic Partnerships & Marketing Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and digital strategies.
    • Establish partnerships with local businesses, tourism boards, and airlines for cross-promotions.
    • Represent the hotel at trade shows, industry events, and sales missions.
  4. Reporting & Performance Analysis:
    • Track sales performance, prepare weekly/monthly reports, and present findings to management.
    • Monitor KPIs (occupancy, ADR, RevPAR) and adjust strategies accordingly.
    • Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Opera, Munshi) to manage leads and client interactions.
