Job Title

Director Medical Services is a key leadership position responsible for the planning, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of medical services.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a cordial and professional working relationship with visiting consultants and assist in decision-making related to their practice.
  • Ensure smooth integration of all medical resources, including personnel, equipment, and consumables.
  • Develop institutional structures for postgraduate medical training, house-job training, paramedical, and nursing staff training.
  • Review, regulate, and evaluate medical operations, procedures, and activities to ensure compliance with government regulations and policies.
  • Design efficient protocols, rules, and procedures for medical services, coordinating with other departments as needed.
  • Project a positive image of the organization in the medical community, media, and international development sector through collaborative initiatives.

Reporting relationships: The Director Medical Services shall report directly to the CEO and also report to the Chairman when required.



Job Specifications

Education: MBBS, preferably with a Master's degree in hospital/public health management or a related discipline from a recognized university.

Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in hospital management or administration in the government, private, or non-government sector.

Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; team player; participative leadership/management thinking; and ability to resolve workplace conflicts.
