Job Title: Professional Language Consultant

The role of a professional language consultant involves providing high-quality translation and interpretation services to facilitate effective communication between individuals with different linguistic backgrounds. This position requires exceptional language skills, cultural competence, and the ability to work in diverse environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate complex documents from Arabic to English, ensuring accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
  • Provide simultaneous and consecutive interpretation services during meetings, interviews, and education sessions.
  • Maintain confidentiality and neutrality when handling sensitive information.
  • Ensure clarity and precision in all translations and interpretations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the project coordination team.

Requirements:

  • University degree in translation, linguistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a translator or interpreter.
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic languages, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in computer software applications, including MS Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with international organizations or NGOs.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
