**Senior Data Engineer Position Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to lead our data infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience with building and maintaining scalable data architectures that support lending models and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • ETL/ELT Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, Athena, and Step Functions.
  • Data Lakehouse Management: Curate a robust data lakehouse by structuring and maintaining the data lake with proper partitioning, schema evolution, metadata tagging, and access control.
  • Machine Learning Support: Collaborate with data scientists to deploy models using SageMaker Pipelines, update the Feature Store, and set up triggers for model retraining.
  • Pipeline Monitoring and Quality Control: Ensure precision and integrity by monitoring pipeline outputs and data quality dashboards to ensure all data is accurate, traceable, and reproducible.
  • Infrastructure Automation and Security: Automate, audit, and secure by using infrastructure-as-code tools like Pulumi or Terraform to build reproducible infrastructure, implementing logging, versioning, and KMS-encrypted security practices.

The successful candidate will have 4+ years of experience in data engineering or cloud data architecture roles, solid experience with the AWS data stack, proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark, and experience with data lake architecture and handling semi-structured data.

  • Proven experience with data engineering and cloud data architecture
