Test Leadership Role

The Test Lead is responsible for overseeing the testing process, ensuring that it aligns with the organization's goals and objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of software quality assurance principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of testers to achieve project goals and objectives.
  2. Develop and implement effective testing strategies and automation infrastructure.
  3. Responsible for generating technical documents such as test plans, test cases, and use cases.
  4. Write SQL queries to retrieve, save, and update data.
  5. Prioritize tasks based on project criticality.
  6. Responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing test automation scripts and programs.
  7. Open defects during manual or automated testing.
  8. Provide daily status reports for test case and defect metrics.
  9. Take ownership of product quality.
  10. Task assignment and team management.
  11. Manual and automated software testing.
  12. Planning, designing, and implementing testing strategies and automation infrastructure.
  13. Coordinate meetings with development teams.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 4 years Bachelor's Degree in CS, CE, IT.
  • At least 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
  • Proficient in computer skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Recognize and prioritize quality issues.
  • Investigate new quality, process techniques, tools, and technologies.
