The Technical Market Development Officer will play a critical role in driving business growth through technical excellence and market insight.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth.
- Work closely with R&D and marketing teams to plan and launch new products.
- Provide technical expertise to drive innovation and sustainability.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with R&D team to stay up-to-date on new developments.
- Collaborate with sales and commercial teams to deliver successful pre-launch demonstrations.
- Organize pre-launch field days to showcase new products.
- Provide technical assistance to R&D colleagues.
- Develop and execute plans to achieve business objectives.
- Innovate and think critically to build confidence within commercial teams.
- Monitor competition activities and new developments in agriculture.
- Establish partnerships with research institutes and academia to stay informed on agricultural developments.
- Engage with farmers to understand their needs and offer sustainable solutions.
- Identify key challenges in Pakistan agriculture and provide innovative solutions.
- Develop a Learning and Development Center to enhance crop programs and stakeholder confidence.
- Proven track record of success in techno-commercial roles.
- Master's degree in relevant field (e.g. Entomology, Pathology, Agronomy).
- Up-to-date knowledge of key crops in Pakistan.
- Knowledge of important insects and pests of these crops.
- Experience in farm management.
