Project Manager Job Description

As a key member of our organization, the Project Manager will play a vital role in overseeing all stages and types of initiatives.

The ideal candidate will provide a proactive interface between internal customers and technical staff to ensure effective definition of and delivery of business applications.

  • Design, develop, and deliver effective business applications
  • Unravel, define, and document complex business requirements and processes
  • Lead design sessions and review sessions with technical and business staffs
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams
  • Direct daily operations of department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, and setting deadlines
  • Manage multiple, parallel projects using formal project planning techniques
  • Evaluate options and implement solutions

Skill and Expertise:

  • Strong business analyst, application design, and project management skills are essential
  • Candidate should have at least 6 years of work experience, with 4 years of Project Management experience required
  • Technically sound in ASP.Net /VB.net/SQL server 2000/2005, with C# as an added advantage
  • Experience in developing complex Web Applications and knowledge of insurance industry
  • Flexible, able to work under pressure, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent English writing and speaking skills, with experience handling foreign clients
  • Able to develop and manage project scope, deliverables, milestones, and critical resource planning activities
  • Manage concurrent projects and their interdependencies
  • Estimate, prioritize, and schedule own tasks
  • Use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions
  • Expertise in coordinating, training, supervising, or managing activities of others
