The Head of E-commerce role is a key position responsible for developing and executing e-commerce strategies to drive sales growth, improve user experience, and expand market presence. This senior leadership role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in e-commerce management, data analysis, and market insights.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. E-commerce Strategy Development:
  • Develop e-commerce strategies that align with clients' business objectives, focusing on increasing sales, improving user experience, and expanding market presence.
  • Define clear e-commerce goals for client growth, emphasizing the importance of data-driven decision making.
Oversee Website and Marketplace Sales:
  • Provide strategic direction for clients' e-commerce websites, marketplaces (e.g., Amazon), and other sales platforms.
  • Drive e-commerce sales by optimizing product listings, enhancing SEO, managing pricing strategies, and ensuring a smooth customer journey.
  • Maximize revenue growth by identifying new marketplace opportunities and expanding product ranges.
Team Management and Collaboration:
  • Lead and guide the team of virtual assistants assigned to e-commerce clients, ensuring they work collaboratively to meet clients' goals.
  • Work closely with other departments (marketing, creative services, and operations) to ensure the successful delivery of e-commerce solutions.
Market and Competitor Analysis:
  • Monitor and analyze competitors' online strategies, emerging trends, and digital marketing techniques in the e-commerce sector.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on product performance, customer behavior, and market trends to inform future strategies.
Client Relationship and Satisfaction:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with e-commerce clients, providing consistent updates on project status, performance metrics, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure clients are fully satisfied with the strategic approach, meeting their KPIs and business objectives.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for e-commerce clients and consistently track performance to ensure goals are met or exceeded.
  • Analyze and report on e-commerce performance, focusing on key metrics such as sales growth, customer acquisition, conversion rates, and ROI.
  • Presents findings to clients and makes data-driven decisions to enhance sales performance.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay ahead of the curve on e-commerce trends, tools, and technologies, and continuously optimize e-commerce strategies to meet client needs.
  • Drive innovation by recommending new strategies, testing new ideas, and ensuring continuous improvement in e-commerce offerings.
