The Corporate Security Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering robust security services by empowering the leadership team to ensure a secure workplace for all staff and effectively mitigating security risks within local operations.
This role is responsible for ensuring that all facilities are compliant with Group Security Standards, conducting site security assessments and producing reports with recommendations for changes to security provisions. Additionally, it involves introducing and maintaining security best practices throughout the market, as defined within the Group Security Strategy.
A key responsibility of this role is to spread and coordinate personal security awareness in the market, including training programs in areas such as Security Induction, Crisis Management, and Hostile Environment Training. The Corporate Security Manager also selects, appoints, trains, and guides part-time Security Champions, one for each facility in the Market.
Another critical aspect of this role is to ensure that the Market has updated security contingency plans in place, covering incidents such as local evacuation, product contamination, kidnap for ransom, military/civil unrest, and others. The manager must also notify key stakeholders and the Group Security Centre of any security, political, environmental, or social developments that could impact Group Travel Directives.
The Corporate Security Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of security for foreign delegations in Pakistan, including managing public relations, protocol, stay, security, and coordinating with government and intelligence/security agencies for necessary permissions.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Group Security Standards at all facilities.
- Conduct site security assessments and produce reports with recommendations.
- Introduce and maintain security best practices throughout the market.
- Spread and coordinate personal security awareness in the market.
- Select, appoint, train, and guide part-time Security Champions.
- Ensure updated security contingency plans are in place.
- Notify key stakeholders of security developments impacting Group Travel Directives.
- Manage security for foreign delegations in Pakistan.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior corporate security experience with public or private sector, including liaison with leadership cadres.
- Excellent interpersonal and management skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate others.
- Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive information and convey performance expectations.
- Good understanding of national regulations, policies, and directions.
- Familiarity with food business operations, including manufacturing, quality, engineering, supply chain, sales, finance, legal, safety, and security.
