As a seasoned piping engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving our asset integrity initiatives forward. Your expertise in reviewing and finalizing piping-related deliverables will be instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of quality are met.

Responsibilities
  • Review and finalize plot plans, piping layouts, piping isometrics, piping design basis, piping material specifications, MTO/BOQ, and other relevant documents to guarantee compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Prepare detailed data sheets for valves and special items, showcasing your ability to analyze complex technical information and communicate it effectively.
  • Develop tie-in procedures, critical line lists, tie-in schedules, and tie-in sketches, demonstrating your proficiency in spatial reasoning and problem-solving.
  • Perform and review pipe stress calculations, leveraging your expertise in statics and dynamics to ensure the structural integrity of our assets.
  • Assist in identifying critical lines requiring pipe stress analysis and review the line list to ensure an adequate level of criticality is defined, highlighting your attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Have experience performing stress analysis for various systems, including metallic, FRP/HDPE piping, and cryogenic piping, showcasing your adaptability and willingness to learn.
  • Prepare detailed pipe supports, including drawings and schedules, demonstrating your ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
  • Contribute to procurement support, preparing data sheets, MRs, TBEs, vendor doc reviews, and other tasks, showcasing your organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Participate in project kick-off meetings, design reviews, and other collaborative efforts, highlighting your excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to review tenders/RFQs regarding scope of work, prepare technical clarifications, finalize techno-commercial bid proposals, and address post-bid clarifications, demonstrating your technical expertise and business acumen.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field as a minimum.
  2. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in FEED & Detail Engineering in the Oil and Gas Sector.
  3. Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards, as well as best engineering practices.
  4. Proficiency in drafting and analysis software, such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Navisworks, and CAESAR-II.
  5. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
