As a key member of our e-commerce platform team, you will be responsible for designing and developing custom Shopify themes and templates that align with our brand identity. Your expertise in Shopify development, theme customization, and app integration will enable you to create seamless shopping experiences for our customers.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as proficiency in cross-browser compatibility and testing. You will also be skilled in A/B testing and conversion rate optimization, with a strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop custom Shopify themes and templates that align with our brand identity
  • Build custom functionalities and features using Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Integrate third-party applications and APIs to enhance store functionality
  • Optimize website performance for speed, mobile responsiveness, and SEO
  • Collaborate with design and marketing teams to implement new features and improve user experience
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the Shopify platform
Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in Shopify development and customization
  • Proficiency in Shopify Liquid templating language
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles
  • Experience with Shopify APIs (REST Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL)
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with Shopify Plus for enterprise-level solutions
  • Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js)
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and implementation
Technical Requirements:
  • Portfolio demonstrating custom Shopify theme development
  • Experience with Shopify CLI and development tools
