Pharmacy Manager Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned pharmacy professional with a proven track record in managing operations, regulatory compliance, and team leadership.

This is a strategic role ideal for someone who's ready to step into a managerial position with a fast-paced, impact-driven healthcare company.

The successful candidate will lead the end-to-end operations of our in-house pharmacy unit, ensuring excellence in service delivery, inventory systems, and patient care.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the complete pharmacy setup and operations with efficiency and compliance.
  • Oversee inventory control, stock levels, and POS/inventory management systems, ensuring adherence to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) standards.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with DRAP, healthcare safety protocols, and pharmaceutical laws.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise the pharmacy team to deliver high standards of patient-centric care and operational excellence.
  • Work collaboratively with internal healthcare professionals to streamline prescription handling and improve treatment outcomes.
  • Analyze sales reports, track pharmacy KPIs, and develop pharma marketing strategies to improve profitability and visibility.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of prescriptions, inventory, expiry, and audit data.
Qualifications & Profile
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 4–5 years of professional experience in pharmacy operations or management.
  • Strong command of POS systems, inventory tools, and pharmacy management software.
  • Solid understanding of pharmaceutical storage, FIFO principles, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience; confident in handling cross-functional coordination.
  • Strong communication, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Prior exposure to pharmaceutical marketing or commercial pharmacy operations is a plus.
