Our team processes daily transactions efficiently and ensures compliance with internal procedures and operational controls for risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop awareness and understanding of the business strategy and model within Trade.
  • Establish internal standards and procedures for the bank aligned with International Trade development.
  • Lead daily operations to maximize productivity and ensure high-quality services are provided to valued customers using various products and services.
  • Ensure set productivity targets (efficiency, accuracy) and processing turnaround standards are achieved within own area of responsibility.
  • Ensure awareness and full compliance of all rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, procedures, practices, and code of conduct imposed by the Company/Group.
  • Report suspicious transactions including those with Red-Flag alerts to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) approvers.
  • Maintain control over day-to-day operations to ensure adherence to banks' policies and operational guidelines by team members.
  • Handle complex transactions for risk control escalated from team members or directed by Trade Services unit.
  • Promote compliance culture within the letter and spirit of regulatory requirements and ethical standards in conducting business.
  • Exercise good judgment and an inquisitive approach to practices and procedures on AML, demonstrating personal authority, integrity, independence, and resilience when handling transactions.
  • Conduct reviews to ascertain whether transactions have any money laundering aspects and escalate to AML advisors where necessary.
  • Mitigate Operational risk, identify and report AML and suspicious transactions through attending AML-related programs, following AML checklists, policies, and procedures.
