Software Program Manager

This position is responsible for program management support and leadership in planning, development, and delivery of software across multiple technology areas and product segments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge software and hardware technologies.
  • Collaborate with technology areas such as HLOS, BSP, Modem, Connectivity, and Multimedia, as well as with Product Managers, Hardware Engineering, and Business teams.
  • Drive requirements scoping, analysis, planning, including managing interdependencies, staffing constraints, and schedule optimization across tech teams and customers.
  • Establish clear plans of record and drive prioritization.
  • Maintain strong technical understanding of software deliverables, risk management, and mitigation.
  • Implement rigorous execution discipline and communication processes, including risk management, tracking, schedule management, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Develop indicators to monitor program health, quality, and timelines.
  • Partner with functional areas to establish processes supporting disciplined product development and decision-making, with coordination across multiple sites if necessary.
  • Streamline development cycles through effective process development and integration of plans and dependencies.

This role requires experience and domain knowledge of Wireless/Semiconductors/Embedded software, as well as 10-15 years of experience in software product development and program management within the semiconductor/wireless industry. Strong skills in end-to-end product integration and managing software products throughout their development lifecycle are also essential.

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field is required, along with at least 2 years of Program Management or related experience.
