Technical Delivery Director

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Delivery Director to lead our global delivery teams. This role requires a strong background in Java/J2EE web development, agile methodologies, and program management.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience in managing high-performance teams, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple global delivery teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Take charge of client satisfaction, delivery quality, and growth.
  • Work with onsite account managers to identify new opportunities and resource requirements.
  • Lead the Request for Proposal (RFP) activities from offshore for new opportunities.
  • Presentation and defense of proposals.
  • Prepare metrics regarding engagement and present them to management.
  • Act as a single point of contact for the account from offshore.
  • Work with HR and hiring teams to ensure timely fulfillment of resource needs.
  • Lead business review meetings with clients.
  • Mentor next-level leaders.
  • Comfortable leading and following groups or teams.

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong expertise in Java/J2EE web development tech stack along with agile methodologies.
  • Project Management Professional certification is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in managing high-performance teams and individuals.
  • Expertise in program management and managing multiple tracks at the same time.
  • Strong experience in e-commerce or retail industry.
  • Proven ability to establish rapport, credibility, and influence others to drive results across the organization.
  • Creative problem-solving skills for teams, project deliverables, and cross-functional issues.
  • Skilled in managing changing operational goals and demands by being flexible and resourceful.
  • Experience in project management and/or delivery offshore or onshore models and agile development processes.
  • Passionate about operational excellence and governance.
  • Ability to manage 50+ resources in single or multiple accounts.
