**Faculty Position in Molecular Pathology: A Rewarding Career Opportunity**
">We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill a faculty position in our Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and administrative duties.
Responsibilities:- Conduct chromosome analysis, fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), and analysis of neoplastic and constitutional specimens.
- Collaborate with colleagues to advance knowledge and understanding in the field through research endeavors.
- Develop and implement educational programs for students and trainees.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in pathology, extensive experience in cytogenetics and molecular genetics/pathology, and a track record of research accomplishments.
Key Requirements:
- Completed post-graduate training from a reputable institution.
- Relevant qualifications such as FCPS, FRCPath, or American Board certification in Clinical Cytogenetics and Molecular Genetics/Pathology.
- A comprehensive understanding of the field and proficiency in both clinical practice and laboratory techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least five years of experience as Associate Professor in an HEC recognized University.
- A minimum of 15 research publications in journals recognized jointly by HEC and PMDC, with at least 5 of these publications in the last 5 years.
