Senior Auditor Role

The position of Senior Auditor entails the responsibility of conducting complex audits and assessments of a financial institution's risk and control environment. This role requires collaboration with the Audit team and key stakeholders across lines of defense to ensure effective assurance work. As an integral member of the team, you will be responsible for owning execution of assurance work, handling ad-hoc requests, internal and stakeholder communication, regulatory deliverables, etc.

This role is ideal for individuals with inquisitive minds who enjoy operating in fast-paced and dynamic environments. Key responsibilities include participating in complex audits through all phases of the project lifecycle, presenting issues and findings to the business, and discussing practical cross-functional solutions.

The successful candidate will possess relevant experience in internal audit or a similar function, as well as related certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or similar. Effective verbal and written communication and negotiation skills are also essential.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop new techniques and ideas for the team to help make processes increasingly integrated, simpler, and smarter. You will contribute to impactful and timely audits/assurance work, build upon existing skillsets and subject/area expertise, and develop new techniques and ideas for the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in complex audits through all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Present issues and findings to the business and discuss practical cross-functional solutions.
  • Complete audit tasks and other key pieces of work within given timelines and budgeted hours.
  • Monitor, assess, and recommend solutions or enhanced risk and control processes to address emerging risks to our businesses and the firm.
