Job Overview

As a Dynamics Business Central Development Expert, you will be responsible for extending all functional areas of Business Central. This role involves working remotely as part of the Professional Services team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and estimate client modification requests to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Develop code to extend Business Central functionality.
  • Test developed functionality against business requirements.
  • Deliver modifications to clients ensuring seamless integration.
  • Provide pre-go-live and post-go-live end-user support to ensure a smooth experience.
  • Lead technical expertise on the implementation team to drive success.
  • Create outputs as defined by standard system design lifecycles.
  • Collaborate with sales to provide modification estimates and presales demos in pursuit of new business opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a software developer with Dynamics Business Central / NAV, with at least 3 years using the AL programming language.
  • Experience with Business Central 15 and above, utilizing events for modifications; prior NAV versions are highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with clients featuring Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, or Azure Development.
  • Prior experience with common third-party add-on solutions is highly desired.
  • Automated testing experience is preferred.
  • Candidates with experience in Docker, Git, and Azure DevOps will receive particular preference.
  • Certifications (nice to have): MB-800, AZ-204, AZ-800/900, DP-600, PL-500.
