Senior Clinical Leader

The Head Nurse is responsible for ensuring all nursing staff supervised comply with policies and procedures established by the employer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor staff discipline including uniforms, attendance, and punctuality.
- Periodically review department's policies, procedures, job descriptions, etc., and recommend revisions as required.
- Report incidents to senior management as necessary.
- Assign staff duties and make nursing staff duty rosters.
- Implement Ward Teaching Programs for nursing staff in coordination with Nursing Education Services.
- Counsel and guide all nursing staff.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient working of wards.
- Maintain inventories and make indents.
Additional responsibilities include monitoring proper functioning of biomedical equipment, coordinating patient care issues with consultants or medical officers, and performing tasks assigned by supervisors or heads of departments.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a BScN/Post RN with 6+ years of experience or an MScN with 3+ years of experience. They will be skilled in administration of medication, taking and documenting vital signs, maintaining I.O. charts, and performing other key nursing tasks.
