Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled database administrator to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong analysis and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to drive projects through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize database performance by configuring databases and working with the development team to optimize database use.
  • Perform database-related performance tuning and optimization as suggested by statistics.
  • Set up and manage replication topologies for high availability.
  • Manage database security, granting/revoking permissions, and ensure security practices are in place.
  • Set up and maintain highly available database architectures.
  • Implement operational automation.
  • Design, implement, and test disaster recovery scenarios.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems; or a master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems.
  • 1+ years' experience in database administration.
  • Knowledge of T-SQL programming.
  • Knowledge of database cluster technologies.
  • Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to drive projects through to completion.
Additional Requirements:
  • Knowledge of concurrently optimizing the DBMS for functionality, tuneability, reliability, supportability, availability, scalability, and extensibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing enterprise-class databases.
