Job Opportunity

This is a Short-Term Technical Assistance (STTA) position for a Mid National. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and operationalising contracting and vendor management systems for Community Health Inspectors (CHIs), including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), performance contracts, and compliance mechanisms.

The role requires a postgraduate degree in management, law, public administration, or equivalent, with at least 10 years of overall experience. Experience in health sector contracting and vendor management is essential, as well as proven ability to develop SOPs, performance-based contracts, compliance systems, and outsourcing models.

The core competencies required for this role include negotiation, contract oversight, performance monitoring, and accountability frameworks.

The deliverables for this position will include the development of provincial CHI implementation and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) plans, district-level operational plans, and a final technical report with a scale-up and sustainability roadmap.
